What started in 1994 as a Snowboard "STOMP Pad" and accessory company has evolved to become well known as a high quality action sports and board sports brand. STOMP Traction pads (stomp pads) allow riders to "un-strap" their rear foot when riding through flats and lift lines and give a rider more control when exiting a chairlift. They are also used to clear snow and ice from a riders boot before "strapping in." Prior pads were made of flat, eva foam with poor adhesives. These pads offered little traction as snow would stick and pack onto them. They were also notorious for falling off boards and littering the slopes. STOMP entered the snowboard accessory market when we pioneered the injection molded traction pad. These pads introduced raised surfaces that dig into the soles of riders' boots and provide superior traction and snow clearing. In 1995 STOMP developed the first clear pad, which allowed the snowboard's graphics to show through. The company continued to evolve the traction pad when, in 1995 we developed the first 3-D pads with printed graphics to match. Our focus on innovation has resulted in the largest variety of traction pads on the market. In 2005, we introduced the first dual durometer(multi-material) pad as well as metal/carbon fiber insert molded pads. We continue to innovate with Signature Artist's Series pads and have expanded our product offering to include other accessory items like wax, tools, and tuning supplies. In 2002 STOMP Design diversified out into motorsports by launching STOMPGRIP Traction Pads™ for dirtbikes which are an alternative to abrasive grip tape that quickly wears out a riders pants and boots. Traction pads are used to enhance control of a rider's dirtbike, sportbike, ATV, snow sled, etc. by increasing the traction between his legs and the vehicle. This leads to reduced fatigue and what riders refer to as "arm-pump." The pads are injection molded for specific machines with proprietary traction surfaces and rounded edges to resist peeling. Our proprietary ultra-clear elastomer material allows graphics and sponsor logos to remain visible on a vehicle. The product is designed to wear down like a tire and be replaced periodically, rather than wearing out a riders gear. In addition to peel-and-stick kits we now make the most durable and functional Traction Seat Covers on the market for Dirtbikes, Atv's, and Snow Sleds. STOMPGRIP Traction products are used by the world's top racers and athletes in all disciplines that STOMP supports.
